Mr. Ngo to Drive Evolution and Implementation of Next-Generation
Peer-to-Peer Platform for the Enterprise
NextPage Inc., the leader in Peer-to-Peer Content Networking solutions, announced today the appointment of Tom Ngo as chief technology officer.
Mr. Ngo was vice president of technology of netLens, Inc., which was acquired by NextPage in January.

In his role as CTO, Mr. Ngo will oversee the integration of NextPage's current Peer-to-Peer Content Networking platform with Peer Space, a new peer-to-peer infrastructure. Peer Space technology broadens peer-to-peer applications to connect to distributed content in any format, from any location and with any device, including mobile devices.
At the Peer-to-Peer Working Group (P2PWG) meeting on Feb. 8, Mr. Ngo was elected to the group's Technical Architecture Council. NextPage is a member of the P2PWG. The group is an industry consortium focused on developing and advancing infrastructure standards for peer-to-peer computing.
Mr. Ngo is scheduled to present at several leading peer-to-peer conferences. He recently presented at the European Forum on Peer-to-Peer Content Networks as part of IIR's Second Content Delivery Summit and is scheduled to present at the following conferences during the first half of this year: DCI's P2P Computing & Development Conference, SIGS/101 Conferences' P2P Computing & Development Conference and the Enterprise Web & Corporate Portal Conference.
Prior to joining netLens, Mr. Ngo served as an area director of Interval Research Corporation, a research and development firm founded by Paul Allen to investigate innovative technologies in speech, image and video processing. At Interval Research, Mr. Ngo co-invented several patented and patent-pending technologies related to video, audio and graphics technologies.
Mr. Ngo received his bachelor's degree from Cambridge University and received his doctorate from Harvard University.
