-- Server Clustering

Nexaweb Version 3.0 allows for greater scalability through clustering of multiple instances of the Nexaweb Server. An individual Nexaweb Server can support over 1000 simultaneous client sessions, each capable of processing hundreds of transactions per second In a very generic sense, the term Transactions Per Second refers to the number of atomic actions performed by certain entity per second. In a more restrictied view, the term is usually used by DBMS vendor and user community to refer to the number of database transactions performed . When the total requirement grows, additional Nexaweb Server instances can be initiated and clustered to provide the desired scaling.

-- Support for Web Services

With Nexaweb Version 3.0, developers can easily build and deploy applications that consume Web services. Because a Nexaweb application is a standard J2EE application, developers have the flexibility to create backend Web services with their development tools of choice and can then use Nexaweb to create a User Interface (UI) to seamlessly expose those Web services.
