NexTone Appoints Joseph Kuhn as Chief Financial Officer.

New CFO Brings Track Record of Creating Stakeholder Value to Session Management Leader

GAITHERSBURG, Md. -- NexTone[R], a leader in intelligent and scalable session management solutions for VoIP and IMS network interconnects, announced today it has appointed Joseph Kuhn to the position of chief financial officer. Kuhn, who is responsible for worldwide financial functions, will focus on accounting, financial reporting, and value creation for NexTone's investors. He reports to Malik Khan, NexTone's chairman and chief executive officer.

Kuhn has 25 years of experience as a CPA in public accounting as well as in finance and operations with technology-based companies ranging from startups to publicly held multinationals. He has helped guide companies through all phases of development and has raised over $600 million in debt and equity capital to fund their business plans.

Kuhn joined NexTone from venture-backed Mobile 365, Inc., a global leader in delivery and settlement of mobile messaging and data services, where he was CFO. Mobile 365 was sold to Sybase, Inc., in November 2006 for $438 million. Previously, he was CFO of OPNET Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:OPNT), where he was a key member of a management team that generated revenue growth, profitability, and positive cash flow during one of the most challenging environments for IT spending. Kuhn earlier was CFO at Wisor Telecom Corporation; Ciraden, Inc.; and Alaris Medical, where he was also president, bringing it to global leadership in intravenous infusion therapy. He began his career in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Kuhn holds a BA in accounting from Rutgers University and is a certified public accountant.
