NewspaperDirect Licensees Expand ND Service to South America; Same-Day Newspaper Service Now Available in Brazil, Chile and Panama.

NewspaperDirect (www.newspaperdirect.com), a technology company specializing in the digital delivery and printing of travel editions of newspapers from around the world, has expanded its service to South America. New Licensees include: Sao Paulo-based periodical distributor Tele-Sales Representacao; Santiago-based print media distributor CEE; and Panama City- based print-on-demand book company Universal Books. Travelers and residents in Brazil, Chile and Panama now have access to same-day, print editions of NewspaperDirect's catalog of more than 170 newspaper titles.
NewspaperDirect's titles, ranging from the Miami Herald and Basler Zeitung to Expansion and Il Giornale, are digitally delivered outside of their original markets and laser-printed in an 11"x17" (A3) format. All of NewspaperDirect's offerings are exact reproductions of the original printed editions, delivered in a more portable format. In addition to this expansion into South America, the service is currently available through NewspaperDirect's global network of partners and licensees, including major hotel chains, cruise lines and retail outlets.
