Henryk J. Behnke was appointed vice president for development of the Staten Island Institute of Arts & Science based in Staten Island, N.Y. He most recently served as director of marketing and development for Little Sisters of the Assumption in New York City.

Jeffrey W. Chell is the new chief executive officer of the National Marrow Donor Program in Minneapolis. Chell was president and chairman of the board for Allina Health Systems, also in Minneapolis.

Florence Clarke MacDaniel was appointed executive director of the San Antonio-based Nonprofit Resource Center of Texas. She previously served as a staff member for Kronkosky Charitable Foundation, also in San Antonio.

Mary M. Cretella was hired program officer of the Columbus Foundation based in Columbus, Ohio. Cretella previously served as technical assistance director for the U.S. Department of Education's Higher Education Center for Alcohol and Other Drug and Violence Prevention.

Donald T. Floyd is the new president and chief executive officer of the National 4-H Council in Chevy Chase, Md. Floyd was vice president and CEO for the organization prior to the promotion.

Patricia Goodrich was appointed executive director of the Nets Foundation in East Rutherford, N.J. She is the former director of national youth-oriented community outreach programs for the ABC Television Network in New York City.

Sidney R. Hargro was appointed program officer of the Columbus, Ohio-based Columbus Foundation. He previously served as employment specialist/public policy advisor for the United Way of Franklin County, Ohio.

Lee Hiers Owen was promoted to director of resource development of The Brunswick, Ga.-based Map International. She most recently worked for the Brunswick-Golden Isles, also in Brunswick.

John B. Krieger was hired as program officer of The Achelis and Bodman Foundations in New York City. He was a trustee for the Nephrology Foundation of Brooklyn prior to the hiring.

Sandra W. Lynch was appointed manager of corporate partnerships and sponsors of the Bethesda., Md.-based Goodwill Industries International, Inc. She previously served as director of development and external relations for Gifts In Kind International in Alexandria, Va.

Alexandra Mann is the new director of public affairs of the Business Committee for the Arts in New York City. She previously served as curator of education for the American Craft Museum, also in New York City.

Joan C. Mazzotti was appointed executive director of Philadelphia Futures. Mazzotti most recently served as senior vice president and associate general counsel for the food and support services division of Aramark Corp., also in Philadelphia.

Candida Miranda was appointed vice president for human resources at the Chicago-based Museum of Science and Industry. Prior to the appointment Miranda served in the labor relations department for the Ford Motor Company.

Jeffrey Norman was recently promoted to vice president of public affairs for the Newark-based New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC). Norman previously served as assistant vice president of public relations for the NJPAC.

Joanne O'Rourke Hindman is the new executive vice president for operations of the Washington, D.C., headquartered American Red Cross. She previously served as executive vice president and chief financial officer for VCampus, Inc., in McLean, Va.

Dwight Ozard was appointed executive director of Tony Campolo Ministries/The Evangelical Association for the Promotion of Education in St. Davids, Pa. Ozard served as director of public affairs for the Americus, Ga.-based Habitat for Humanity International prior to the appointment.

Suzanne Ryan Curran Dalston is the new vice president of the development division of the Alzheimer Association in Chicago. She previously served as vice president of development for The Northwestern Memorial Foundation also in Chicago.

Marci L. Sloan was hired development director of United Cerabal Palsy of Pittsburgh, Pa. She was development director for CEO, Inc., also based in Pittsburgh.

Nan E. Sullivan was appointed annual giving coordinator of the Arlington Heights, Ill.-based Lutheran Home and Services.

Most recently Sullivan served as director of development/marketing and public relations for the Sisters of Living Word, also located in Arlington Heights, Ill.

John H. Vaughn was hired as executive director of the Amherst, Mass.-based Peace Development Fund. Rev. Vaughn previously served as minister for education and social justice for The Riverside Church in New York City.

Tom Werder is the new executive director of the Carolyn Dorfman Dance Company in Union, N.J. Werder was managing director for George Street Playhouse in New Brunswick, N.J., prior to the hiring.
