John S. Bacon is the new vice president, secretary and general counsel of Colonial Williamsburg Foundation in Williamsburg, Va. He had served as general legal counsel for the foundation and its subsidiaries prior to the appointment.

Lissette S. Bishins was recently appointed director of development and special projects of The National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy in Washington, D.C. Bishins formerly served as deputy executive director for NCRP (Network Computer Reference Profile) The specification for network computer compliance established by Oracle and endorsed by Sun, IBM and others. Harold L. Boone Sr. was hired as acting chief executive officer of Georgia Academy for Children and Youth Professionals based in Atlanta. Prior to joining Georgia Academy, Boone served as social and human service provider for the DeKalb Community Service Board, also in Atlanta.

Ellen Clear is the new director of programs of the Peninsula Community Foundation in San Mateo, Calif. She had served in another capacity for the foundation prior to the promotion.

Marc Dosogne was recently promoted to senior vice president of the Green Lake Conference Center in Green Lake, Wis. He was serving as vice president of development for the Conference Center.

Marjorie Fujiki is the new senior program officer of the Peninsula Community Foundation based in San Mateo, Calif. She most recently served as program officer with the organizational effectiveness and philanthropy program for The David and Lucile Packard Foundation David and Lucile Packard Foundation, private philanthropic institution that funds nonprofit organizations. It was founded in 1964 by David Packard (1912–96), co-founder of Hewlett-Packard Co., and his wife Lucile (1914–87).  in Los Altos, Calif.

Bill King was recently appointed president of the Minneapolis-based Minnesota Council on Foundations The Council on Foundations is a membership organization of more than 2,000 grant-making foundations and giving programs worldwide. They provide leadership expertise, legal services and networking opportunities and other services to participating members and the general public. . King was senior vice president for the council prior to the promotion.

Amy Kirby is the new director of Denver-based Children's Miracle Network The Children's Miracle Network (CMN) is an international non-profit organization that raises funds for Children's hospitals, medical research and community awareness of children's health issues.  for Colorado and Wyoming. She previously served in the marketing division for Albertson's grocery stores, also in Denver.
