Claire Bennett-Lookabill is the new staff accountant of Greensboro, N.C.-based Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro. She was an accountant for Bernard Robinson and Company, L.L.P, also in Greensboro.

Kristen Brondsted was recently appointed director of development of Covenant House Florida in Orlando, Fla. Brondsted previously served as director of development for Community Health Centers, Inc. in Apopka, Fla.

Rachel Brownlie is the new national director for the NetDay AmeriCorps Bridge in Irvine, Calif. She most recently conducted outreach and participated in recruitment efforts for the Corporation for National and Community Service in Washington, D.C.

Dick Dadey was appointed executive director of The Parks Council in New York City Prior to joining The Parks Council, Dadey directed government relations and client services for the New York City office of M&R Strategic Services.

Susan T. Erdey was recently appointed director of communications of New York City-based Foundation Center. Erdey was working for the Education Alliance at Brown University in Providence, R.I., prior to the appointment.

Donna Fisher-Parker was appointed director of marketing and development of The Baltimore Community Foundation in Baltimore. Fisher-Parker previously served as development officer for the Community Foundation of Greater Flint, Mich.

Jim Jennings is the new executive vice president of America's Promise in Washington, D.C. Jennings had been serving as general manager of the Washington, D.C., office of Hill & Knowlton.

Trish Kerle was appointed deputy director of the Washington, D.C.-based National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy Kerle was director of cultural programs for the Lesbian and Gay Community Services Center based in New York City.

Jennifer A. McDonough was appointed vice president for development and alumni relations of the University at Buffalo in Buffalo, N.Y. Prior to joining the university, McDonough served as vice president for development and alumni relations for the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vt.

Tim McFeeley is the new chief executive officer of the Center for Policy Alternatives in Washington, D.C. McFeeley most recently served as political director for the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force.

Rabbi Phil Miller was appointed director of the 92nd Street Y Bronfman Center for Jewish Life in New York City. Prior to the appointment, Rabbi Miller served as director of the JCC of St. Louis.

Liliana Nealon was recently appointed chief financial officer and senior vice president of finance and administration of New York City-based American Bible Society. Most recently, Nealon served as executive director and treasurer of global trading for American Express Bank in New York City.

Susan J. Oliver is the new executive director of Chicago-based Playing for Keeps. She previously served as director of external affairs for the National Lekotek Center in Evanston, Ill.

April Osajima was recently appointed director of the Washington, D.C. public policy office of Girls Incorporated, based in New York City. Most recently, Osajima served as group services manger for Grassroots Enterprise, Inc., a San Francisco-based technology company.

Wayne Pederson is the new president and chief operating officer of the Manassas, Va.-based National Religious Broadcasters. He was the executive vice president for Northwestern Radio in St. Paul, Minn., prior to the appointment.

Mary Kay Phelps was recently app ointed vice president, marketing and development of the Phoenix-based Make-A-Wish Foundation of America. She was senior director of direct response, managing cause marketing, direct marketing, online fundraising, and gift fulfillment for the American Red Cross based in Washington, D.C.

Stephen Rader was appointed managing director of the Chicago-based Health Works Theatre. He was serving as the organization's executive director.

Jack C. Rutenberg is the new executive director of the Miami Jewish Home & Hospital For the Aged in Miami. Rutenberg previously served as the hospital's director of special projects.

Marie Schettino is the new senior director of finance and administration of the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro in Greensboro, N.C. Schettino most recently served as senior accountant for Bernard Robinson and Company, L.L.P., also in Greensboro.

Vincent P. Torti was appointed director of major gifts and annual giving for the Old Westbury, N.Y.-based New York Institute of Technology. Torti most recently directed annual and capital campaigns and special events for the Dolan DNA Learning Center of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.

Joseph P. Travers is the new assistant vice president of communications and development of Road to Responsibility, Inc. headquartered in Marshfield, Mass. Previously, Travers served as director of communications.

Paul Velaski was recently appointed vice president, national operations for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America in Phoenix. Velaski was heading the development office for the Exploris Children's Museum in Raleigh, N.C. prior to the hiring.

Roland C. Warren was appointed president of the National Fatherhood Initiative in Washington, D.C. Most recently, Warren served on the NFI staff as executive vice president.

Wendy Wood was appointed U.S. Representative of the Africa Foundation headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa and will be stationed in the San Francisco area. Wood previously served as the organization's relation's manager.
