Newsagents join the cause.

NEWSAGENTS across Coventry have been asked to distribute stickers to customers reminding them to be wary of who they open their door to.

The National Federation of Retail Newsagents (NFRL) led an initiative by encouraging newsagents to give out stickers about checking the ID of people who knock on their door before letting them in.

Stickers were given out to newsagents at Booker Cash and Carry, Hood Street, Hillfields, by NFRL regional development officer, Julie Ann Smith and it was where a free prize draw was held.

Naropandas Shah, owner of Hina News, in Humber Avenue, Stoke, won pounds 50 worth of Marks and Spencers vouchers after entering the draw.
