NewsRx enters legal & bus. fields with the launch of 56 weekly pubs in 2004.


In what amounts to a huge increase in the supply of information services See Information Systems. , NewsRx (Atlanta, GA), a publisher of professional health and medical news-letters and databases, has entered into legal and business publishing with the planned launch of 56 new weekly titles in 2004.

NewsRx ceo C.W. Henderson said that 29 legal periodicals will be published under the company's new LawRx imprint, with 15 business titles under the IncRx imprint. The company is also adding 12 new weekly titles under its NewsRx banner. "Many niche markets are not being served in-depth by traditional law publishers," Henderson said.

New LawRx titles include: BioTech Law Weekly, AIDS Week & Law, Pharma Law Week, Medicine & Law Week, Drug Law Week, FDA FDA
