Newport unveiled a stylish compact spectrometer with a range of 200 nm to 1500 nm. The OSM-400 is fully portable and can capture data onto Flash memory, or be used in a laboratory setting with a standard PC connection. The new instrument is expected to ship immediately after Pittcon at $3,900.
