Newmark installs high-tech amenities at Ardsley Park.


In an important initiative to equip a major Westchester science park with state-of-the-art telecommunications amenities, Newmark & Company Real Estate, Inc. has teamed with Ardsley Partners LP to create The Ardsley Park Science and Technology Center in Ardsley, NY, just off the Sawmill sawmill, installation or facility in which cut logs are sawed into standard-sized boards and timbers. The saws used in such an installation are generally of three types: the circular saw, which consists of a disk with teeth around its edge; the band saw, which  River Parkway at Exit 16. Spearheading Ardsley Partner's redevelopment activities is The Halpern Organization.

Ardsley Center is a 450,000 square-foot six-building collegiate campus purchased in 1995 by Ardsley Partners, comprised of a partnership of The Halpern Organization, Robert Martin Robert J. Martin (born January 13, 1947) is an American Republican Party politician, who has served as a member of the New Jersey State Senate since 1993, where he represents the 26th Legislative District.  Company, and Nadel Associates, from Ciba-Geigy Pharmaceuticals. The Center is currently occupied by Cultor Foods Science Inc. (106,000 square feet); Purdue Pharma Purdue Pharma L.P., is privately-held pharmaceutical company founded by physicians. It is located in Stamford, Connecticut.

Purdue is best known for painkillers, but they have also branched into other areas such as oncology and nutraceuticals.
 LP (105,000 square feet); the Westchester Library System The Westchester Library System (WLS) is the library system for the citizens of Westchester County, New York. It was established in 1958. The system is made up of 38 libraries across the county and its headquarters are located in Tarrytown, New York.  (14,200 square feet); Westcon Services, Inc. (35,000 square feet); and Westchester County (20,000 square feet).

The complex's remaining 130,000 square feet is available for lease exclusively through Newmark. It is located in Manhattan's "Soho" district, which does not stand for Small Office Home Office, rather it is SOuth of HOuston Street.  office, together with Glenn Walsh, who operates out of Newmark's White Plains, NY location, are spearheading leasing initiatives, targeting small, midsized, and/or start-up tenants requiring state-of-the-art connectivity.

Existing amenities at the Park include a 90-seat amphitheater that will be upgraded with multimedia capabilities, a large corporate cafeteria and various shared conference rooms. Halpern plans to create at least one shared training center, a community lounge area, and to upgrade the telecommunications infrastructure to provide low-cost, high-speed Internet access through the Onsite Access Company.

The four buildings on the campus with space for lease are located at 410, 420, 440, and 450 Sawmill River Road.
