Newmark gets exclusive on Garment Center tower.


Newmark & Company Real Estate has been appointed exclusive leasing agent for 1450 Broadway in Manhattan's Garment Center District, announced Robert Leslie, vice president of ORIX Real Estate Equities, Inc., the building's owner.

"We are very excited about teaming up with ORIX on this assignment," said James D. Kuhn, president of Newmark. "There is no question that 1450 Broadway is poised to take its place as the premiere address for fine fashion showrooms and corporate offices in New York New York, state, United States

Hunter was born in Conyers, Georgia, the daughter of Opal Marguerite (née Catledge), a housewife, and Charles Edwin Hunter, a farmer and sporting-goods

"This same team was responsible for the turnaround of 1370 Broadway," Kuhn commented. "1370 Broadway had large blocks of vacant space available when Holly Hunter was brought in as exclusive leasing agent. The building is now 100 percent occupied."

"The base floors are large enough for any user, they divide well and offer great natural light overlooking Broadway," Hunter said.
