Paul E. Giannone, managing principal of Newmark Real Estate of New Jersey, L.L.C., reports that the firm's New Jersey offices are experiencing an increase in leasing activity throughout the office sector. Newmark New Jersey has recorded several recent noteworthy transactions including:

At 205 and 225 May St. in Middlesex, new leases were signed on behalf of Same Day Surgery, LLC; Gastroenterology Associates, PA; May Street Associates, L.L.C.; Orthopedic Associates, LLC and Twin County Physical Therapy. Representing both the tenants and the owners, 205 and 225 May Street Associates, LLC, in these transactions were Judith Cohen, managing director, Beth Krinsky, director, and Dan Frankel, principal of Newmark New Jersey.

A lease extension was signed on behalf of Multi Modal Applied Systems, a software company, at 125 Village Blvd. in Princeton Forrestal Village in Princeton, N.J. Douglas Twyman, principal, and Mary Ryan, associate of Newmark New Jersey, represented the tenant in this transaction. The Gale Company is the owner of this 65,000 SF facility.

The law firm of Hanarha & Robertelli, PA expanded its lease at 80 Grand Ave. in Bergen county. Egidio Carlino, associate director of Newmark New Jersey, represented the owner, Grand Avenue Associates, in this transaction. Gary Nissam of TSI, Inc. was the co-broker.

Contech Marketing Associates, Inc. signed a new lease at 4041 Hadley Road at Hadley Park in Middlesex county. Seena Stein, principal, and Hope Brodsky, associate director of Newmark New Jersey, represented both the tenant and the owner of the office building, Adler Development, in this transaction.

David Simon, principal, and David Saltzman, principal of Newmark New Jersey, represented Hilliard Farber & Co., Inc., a financial solution company, in a sublease extension at 430 Mountain Ave. in Berkeley Heights. WP Commercial is the landlord of the facility.

The U.S. Government signed a new lease at 10 Woodbridge Center Drive in Woodbridge. Rob Dinner, principal, Mary Ryan, associate, Marc Shein, principal, and Paul E. Giannone represented both the tenant and the building owner in this transaction.
