All courses will be taught by experienced real estate appraisal professionals, teaching as Baruch faculty members and certified as instructors by the State of New York and the Appraisal Institute. This initial sequence will provide the four courses necessary for the first level New York State Real Estate Appraiser Certification. All courses will be held at the Baruch College campus, most at Newman Hall, 137 East 22nd St. This marks a major expansion for the Newman Real Estate Certificate Program which is a joint effort with the Baruch College Division of Continuing and Professional Studies, providing a new, highly professional and well recognized series of courses in real estate valuation and appraisal. For the New York Metropolitan Chapter of the Appraisal Institute it greatly expands their offerings for both those entering the appraisal field and appraisers seeking additional education.
