NewStep Networks Expands Leadership Team with Key Sales and Marketing Appointments; Award-Winning Fixed-Mobile Convergence Solutions Provider Appoints Industry Veterans to Lead Sales and Marketing Teams.

TORONTO -- NewStep Networks, Inc., a leading provider of IMS-based, fixed-mobile convergence solutions for carriers and enterprises, announced today it was expanding its executive leadership team with the appointments of Craig Gosselin as Chief Marketing Officer and Donna Cowan as Vice President of Sales and Business Development. Mr. Gosselin brings 20 years of marketing and sales experience in telecommunications and technology to NewStep and will lead the company's business strategy, offer management, marketing and communications efforts. Ms. Cowan also brings 20 years of experience with early-stage technology companies and will lead the company's sales and partnership initiatives with service providers, enterprises, and channel partners.

Prior to joining NewStep, Mr. Gosselin helped drive an increase in company value while serving as Chief Marketing and Sales Officer at Velocita Wireless, and as Vice President of Sales and Channel Marketing at Virgin Mobile USA. Mr. Gosselin also held the position of Senior Vice President at American Express, and had multiple leadership roles within AT&T where he began his career.

Most recently, Ms. Cowan has supported the growth of numerous technology companies through her roles as board member and board advisor. Ms. Cowan also worked at Sonus Networks, Inc., where she was Vice President of Strategic Carrier Sales until the company went public. In this position she successfully built alliances with new carriers in order to develop business partnerships and enhance products and technologies. Before joining Sonus, Ms. Cowan worked at Newbridge Networks Corp., in a number of senior sales and business development positions, and as a member of the Chairman's Executive Council.
