The solution can be deployed within the cable network, and inter-operate with CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) A method for transmitting simultaneous signals over a shared portion of the spectrum.  environment, but can also be configured to deliver the same capabilities in non-IMS networks. The integrated session-based billing supports detailed tracking of calls as they move from one network to another, making it easier for service providers to reconcile and charge for usage across multiple networks.

The combination of these features enables NewStep Networks to deliver a suite of fixed mobile convergence Seamless switching between cellular and local networks for mobile users.
