CommTech Corp. today announced a new customer agreement with NewSouth Communications Corp., a broadband integrated communications provider (ICP), providing a full complement of data and telecommunications services to businesses throughout the Southeastern U.S.

CommTech empowers and enriches communications service providers (CSPs) and their subscribers with real-time ordering and activation of convergent services such as DSL, voice, and cable broadband.

NewSouth is deploying CommTech's FastFlow(R) Suites to manage convergent services including voice, which NewSouth delivers via Lucent Technologies 5ESS switches; and a variety of data services, delivered via the ICP's xDSL infrastructure supporting VoIP, DSLAM, ATM, and routers. The agreement includes NewSouth's purchase of the FastFlow(R) Business Process Editor (BPE), Workflow Manager, Data, Transport, and Switching activation platform plus CommTech's local and long distance routing product.
