NewMarket China Clarifies Cause of Ticker Symbol Error.Erroneous Delinquent Filing Status by NASD NASD See: National Association of Securities Dealers NASD See National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD). being Corrected Today DALLAS -- NewMarket China, Inc. (OTCBB OTCBB See OTC Bulletin Board (OTCBB). :NMCH NMCH National Museum of Chinese History ) today was erroneously listed as delinquent in the company's required filings by the NASD. On November 20, 2006, NewMarket China released an 8K stating its intention to change its fiscal year from a year end of September 30 to a calendar year end of December 31. In a procedural oversight by the NASD, this detail was overlooked. Due to this oversight, the NASD was expecting to see a 10Q filing for the last three months of 2006. If NewMarket China had not changed its fiscal year to align with the calendar year, a 10Q would have been due by mid-February. Rather than filing a 10Q, NewMarket China will be filing a transitional 10KSB KSB Kogod School of Business (American University) KSB Kelley School of Business (Indiana University) KSB Kantonsschule Am Brühl St. to align its fiscal year with the calendar year. This filing is due by March 31, 2007. NewMarket China has received confirmation that our symbol change has been reversed, and the E will be dropped on February 22, 2007. This confirmation can be viewed at the OTCBB website under the OTCBB News. Thank you, John T. Verges CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization.
