New warrant officers come back to SDDC.

Historic Fort Hamilton
, N.Y., is now working with the 1179th at Fort Eustis Fort Eustis is a United States Army facility located in Newport News, Virginia.

The post is the home to the Army Transportation Corps, and also home to the U.S. Army Aviation Logistics School.
, Va., and deploys with DSB teams to support the Warfighter in his new role as a Warrant Officer. Warrant Officer Eric Gamboa, assigned to the 1394th DSB in Camp Pendleton, Calif., is currently serving in the Operation Iraqi Freedom Area of Responsibility.

Warrant Officer DeAngelo Grant is assigned to the 1398th DSB in Baltimore, Md., and Warrant Officer Antonia Garibay is assigned to the 1394th.

After being selected as Mobility Officer Candidates for their knowledge and experience as enlisted transporters, the four attended Warrant Officer Candidate School in Fort Rucker Fort Rucker is a U.S. Army post located mostly in Dale County, Alabama. It was named for Confederate General Edmund Rucker. The post is the primary flight training base for Army Aviation and is home to the United States Army Aviation Warfighting Center (USAAWC) and the United , Ala. Upon graduation from Fort Rucker, the four new Warrant Officers attended the MO-WOBC at the U.S. Army Transportation School at Fort Eustis.

MO-WOBC is an intense 19-week course designed to teach the Army's future transportation technicians about the Defense Transportation System, the joint deployment process, and deployment information systems. At the end of MO-WOBC, the Warrant Officers applied their new skills at the Transportation School's Deployment & Distribution Experimentation and Exercise Center (DDEEC).

The DDEEC is a dynamic, interactive training environment where the Mobility Officers plan and execute an end-to-end deployment of a notional Army force in an intense 10-day capstone exercise. Students from the Division Transportation Officer Course at Fort Leavenworth Fort Leavenworth (lĕv`ənwûrth'), U.S. military post, 6,000 acres (2,430 hectares), on the Missouri River, NE Kans., NW of Leavenworth; est. 1827 by Col. Henry Leavenworth to protect travelers on the Santa Fe Trail. The oldest U.S. , Kan., were integrated into the exercise for a truly collaborative learning environment.

These deployment experts are a highly anticipated addition to the DSB teams.
