After being selected as Mobility Officer Candidates for their knowledge and experience as enlisted transporters, the four attended Warrant Officer Candidate School in Fort Rucker Fort Rucker is a U.S. Army post located mostly in Dale County, Alabama. It was named for Confederate General Edmund Rucker. The post is the primary flight training base for Army Aviation and is home to the United States Army Aviation Warfighting Center (USAAWC) and the United , Ala. Upon graduation from Fort Rucker, the four new Warrant Officers attended the MO-WOBC at the U.S. Army Transportation School at Fort Eustis. MO-WOBC is an intense 19-week course designed to teach the Army's future transportation technicians about the Defense Transportation System, the joint deployment process, and deployment information systems. At the end of MO-WOBC, the Warrant Officers applied their new skills at the Transportation School's Deployment & Distribution Experimentation and Exercise Center (DDEEC). The DDEEC is a dynamic, interactive training environment where the Mobility Officers plan and execute an end-to-end deployment of a notional Army force in an intense 10-day capstone exercise.
