New tourist shops.

NEW TOURIST SHOPS. The Grenada Board of Tourism on May 20 announced the grand opening of two new shopping facilities. The US$11 million Esplanade Mall, at the Melville Street cruise ship terminal in St. George's, offers a wide range of items at duty free prices. These include electronics, jewelry, gift items, local craft, liquor, and fragrances. The South City Duty Free Plaza, adjacent to the Vendors' Market on Grand Anse Beach, recently opened, with 35 shops, with banking and hotel facilities to be opened in later 2006.
