Julie Walters, Celia Imrie, Duncan Preston, Josie Lawrence, Neil Morrissey and Sally Ann Triplett star in Victoria Wood's musical version of the spoof soap opera, recorded live at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket, in London where the show played to sell-out audiences. The plot revolves around Miss Babs, (Imrie), and her struggle to keep her antiques business afloat in the face of an aggressive takeover bid from a chain of coffee shops.
