New team in Boston.


Boston Ballet will mark its fortieth-anniversary season with a dramatically different roster. In addition to promoting Sarah Lamb from soloist ranking, the company has engaged three new principal dancers: Lorna Feijoo (Cuban born and formerly with the Cincinnati Ballet), Rolando, Sarabia (also Cuban and a gold medalist at the International Ballet Competition in Jackson in 1998), and Roman Rykine (most recently with San Francisco Ballet San Francisco Ballet, or SFB, is a San Francisco, USA based ballet company, founded in 1933 as part of San Francisco Opera Ballet. The company is currently based in the War Memorial Opera House, where it is directed by Helgi Tomasson. ). The four new soloists include Barbora Kohoutkova, Pavel Gurevich, Michael Cusumano, and Nelson Madrigal. Jared Redick and Romi Beppu have been promoted to soloists. These arrivals will boost Boston Ballet's roster to fifty-five full-time dancers. In addition, Merrill Ashley, a former New York City Ballet New York City Ballet, one of the foremost American dance companies of the 20th cent.
