New shrink-label films.


Klockner Pentaplast of America, Inc. in Gordonsville, Va., has broadened its menu of shrink films for making full-body shrink-sleeve labels and cap seals used to decorate blown bottles:

* Pentaprint regular-shrink OT E746/91 and high-shrink OT E749/50 polyester films offer 56% and 78% shrink ratios, respectively. These PETG PETG Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol

 films are 45 microns thick, permitting 10% downgauging versus existing films.

* OT M276/41 is a vinyl film with 52% shrink ratio and frosty frost·y

3. Silvery white; hoary.

 matte finish. The 60-micron film provides a shrinksleeve alternative to acid-etched glass containers.
