The bishops are also preparing, writes Likoudis, (1) a new sex education document, "that emphasizes the teaching of morality and parental rights; (2) a document on faith and politics, which reminds Catholic voters and politicians they have a serious moral obligation to manifest their Catholic faith in public life by their votes, political activity, and legislation; (3) a user-friendly pamphlet outlining the Church's opposition to legislation supporting same-sex unions; (4) production of an adult catechism catechism (kăt`əkĭzəm) [Gr.,=oral instruction], originally oral instruction in religion, later written instruction. Catechisms are usually written in the form of questions and answers.  based on The Catechism of the Catholic Church The Catechism of the Catholic Church, or CCC, is an official exposition of the teachings of the Catholic Church, first published in French in 1992 by the authority of Pope John Paul II. , and development of guidelines for high school catechisms.
