BONACIN CLOSER N2500 CLAMP

At AWFS Vegas, DMG will display the Bonacin Closer N2500 clamp. The electric case clamp has fast opening and closing speeds with a patented traveler system with steel reinforced belts. Independent vertical and horizontal potentiometers control power to ensure closing doweled joints on both cases and drawer boxes. The space-saving design allows for placement in low overhead spaces, noise-free operation and a low energy consumption of 1 kw/hour.

BUSELLATO JET OPTIMA

DMG offers the new Busellato Jet Optima. Features include: a 4-ft by 10-ft working field, HSK electro-spindle, 18-spindle drilling head with complete table coverage, seven available tool positions in a new parallel tool changer format located under the Y beam for high speed tool change, a laser for pod positioning, flexible pod and rail system with veneer and standard reference pins, optional 360 axis and Genesis Evolution software complete with Autolink.

FRAVOL SMART 6 EDGEBANDER

Companies seeking a small- to mid-range, high-quality edgebander can benefit from the Fravol SMART 6 and its many features. The SMART 6 is a proven workhorse for commercial or residential cabinetry, store fixtures, closets or components. Features include: a color touchscreen; patented, single motor corner rounding unit with single point regulation; pneumatic changeover via PLC for thin tape, 3mm and solid wood; fast 12.5 mpm track speed; heavy-duty construction; precision linear guides for movement of units; and the capability of corner rounding a 6-in. panel. The SMART 6 is perfectly suited for the application of thin tape, 3mm PVC, HPL strips and solid wood up to 8mm.

MAYER PS2 Z120 3800 BEAM SAW

The PS2 Z120 offers a high output with its 4.7-in. blade projection (optional 7.8-in. cutting height) and fast cutting speeds up to 130 m/min (426 fpm), while maintaining the dimensional accuracy and superior cut quality required by discriminating customers. All Mayer saws feature a PC interface for flexible integration, user-friendly graphic screens for programming and operation, and an optional material database for variable rim and cutting speeds material thickness and type.

OMAL HBD 1550 HORIZONTAL BORE, GLUE AND DOWEL MACHINE

The OMAL HBD 1550 Horizontal Bore, Glue and Dowel machine is an NC machine for drilling, gluing and inserting dowels on horizontal pieces. The machine has a cycle time of approximately I second for each bore, glue and dowel insertion when holes are on 64mm intervals. The HBD 1550 is equipped with a saw, two vertical drills and two horizontal drills for 6mm and 8mm dowels, and the selection of the working reference (left, center or right position) is executed by CNC. For flexibility in processing larger panels, the HBD 1550's center and side reference is excludable for processing long panels. The clamps will hold panels or drawer parts horizontally for edge or face boring plus grooving.
