New president named for SCAE.The Specialty Coffee Association of Europe Europe (y  r`əp), 6th largest continent, c.4,000,000 sq mi (10,360,000 sq km) including adjacent islands (1992 est. pop. 512,000,000). (SCAE SCAE Speciality Coffee Association of EuropeSCAE Spinocerebellar Ataxia with Epilepsy SCAE Society for Computer-Aided Engineers SCAE Society of Creationists Against Evolution ) has elected Dr. Massimiliano Fabian as its new president for the current term. Dr. Fabian has been active in the SCAE since its inception. Fabian is c.e.o. of Demus, a green coffee decaffeination Decaffeination is the act of removing caffeine from coffee beans, mate, cocoa, tea leaves and other caffeine containing materials. In addition to his position with Demus, Fabian is also vice president of a new company in Trieste, DEMUS LAB--dedicated to coffee research, analysis and consulting.
