New president/CEO named for YMCA of the Rockies. (Camp News).

The Board of Directors for YMCA of the Rockies has named Kent Meyer, managing director of Snow Mountain Ranch, to be the new president/CEO for YMCA of the Rockies. He succeeds E. Eugene Garris, who announced his retirement July 31, 2001.

Meyer brings over twenty years of experience, leadership, and devotion to the YMCA mission. At the time of his appointment, he had served for fourteen years as managing director for Snow Mountain Ranch, one of two centers owned and operated by YMCA of the Rockies near Winter Park, Colorado.
