This site offers a searchable database Refers to databases on the Web that are searchable by typing in a query. The term is quite redundant because all databases are searchable. In fact, that is one of their major features. However, since almost anything can be called a database, including a collection of HTML pages, searchable database refers to a traditional database accessible via the Web. See deep Web. where users can enter the type of job they are seeking by category. And if a category is not listed, Musical America welcomes e-mailed requests for new categories to include at info@musicalamerica.com. Users simply log onto www.nmsicalamerica.com and select "career center," where they can search for jobs, resumes, post jobs or make any changes to existing listings. While there is a small fee for employers to list their job openings, job seekers can list their resumes and browse the site free of charge. Musical America was founded by John C. Freund in 1898 as a weekly newspaper covering drama, music and the arts. For more information, contact Musical America at info@musicalamerica.com. |
