New merchandising line designed to fit in contemporary or traditional setting.

A new merchandising line introduced by NewGround, St. Louis, is designed to help financial institutions link merchandising elements to interior design.

The new line uses lighting techniques and a design that centers on framing and casting scenes in order to fit in either a contemporary or traditional setting.

One feature of the design is its backlit capability. Color-coded backlit window panes were developed to highlight the graphics package, brand and the existing environment.

The integrated line features:

* Freestanding kiosk displays.

* Three-panel screens.

* Literature pylons

* Nesting tables.

* Wall-mounted light boxes.

* Greeter station.

* Graphics program.

Components can be arrange as standalone units or positioned to create retail zones.

"We've designed these components so they can come together in a variety of ways to create welcome centers, retail departments and waiting areas. Our approach was to create a space within a space," says Jim Kueneke, senior vice president of retail media.
