New medical titles from Blackwell Publishing.


Blackwell Publishing (Malden, MA) has begun the publication of three new medical journals, including "Congenital Heart Diseases congenital heart disease, any defect in the heart present at birth. There is evidence that some congenital heart defects are inherited, but the cause of most cases is unknown. ," "International Journal of Older People Nursing" and "International Journal of Stroke."

"Congenital Heart Disease: Clinical Studies from Fetus to Adulthood" focuses on heart disease in children and adults and the related advances in the treatment of such malfunctions. Launched in January, the journal publishes articles on heart disease as it relates to the following areas: clinical pediatric pediatric /pe·di·at·ric/ (pe?de-at´rik) pertaining to the health of children.
