New loaders for central and stand-alone use.

A new generation of Metro loaders is being launched this month by Motan Inc., Plainwell, Mich. They replace all previous models. Standardization and modularization of components are said to minimize cost.

Metro central-system loaders come in hopper- and machine-mounted sizes from 0.5 to 30 liters. Hoppers can be glass or stainless steel stainless steel: see steel.

Any of a family of alloy steels usually containing 10–30% chromium. The presence of chromium, together with low carbon content, gives remarkable resistance to corrosion and heat.

Three stand-alone Metro units with proportioning valves come in MES (Manufacturing Execution Software) Software that provides real time access to plant activities that include equipment, labor, orders and inventory. An MES integrates the data with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems so that management has complete control of  models for direct machine mounting and HES models for hopper mounting. The new HES/MES 10 is the smallest single-phase loader A program routine that copies a program into memory for execution.  (22 lb/hr) Motan has built, and the HES/MES 200 is the largest (440 lb/hr), matching the performance of a bulkier three-phase unit. The series also includes the MVS (Multiple Virtual Storage) Introduced in 1974, the primary operating system used with IBM mainframes (the others are VM and DOS/VSE). MVS is a batch processing-oriented operating system that manages large amounts of memory and disk space.  compressed-air loader for up to 11 lb/hr. Like the new central loaders, these models have hinged lids, and their material and vacuum hoses and valves are fitted to the body of the unit and do not have to be disconnected for cleaning and maintenance. HES/MES 50 (110 lb/hr) and 200 units have sound insulation. Tel: (800) 991-9921 * PT Direct: 793JP
