New legal news site from Mealey Publications.


Mealey Publications (King of Prussia King of Prussia, industrialized suburban area (1990 pop. 18,406), Montgomery co., SE Pa. It has glass and steel fabricating, food processing, printing and publishing, and varied manufacturing (textiles, liquified petroleum gas, water-treatment and electrical , PA), a unit of LexisNexis (Dayton, OH), has begun the production of a new legal news site (mealeys.com/legalnews.asp) with legal information, news and developments for all practice areas, Mealey said. The new site will be updated twice a day. Access to headlines and some analysis is free. Access to most full-text stories is on a pay-per-view basis.

The site carries the top national legal news stories, state-by-state updates, and an overview of suit filings, verdicts and settlements in the user's chosen practice area.

The new site's headlines and briefs include: the latest news from Mealey's 50 litigation An action brought in court to enforce a particular right. The act or process of bringing a lawsuit in and of itself; a judicial contest; any dispute.
