New interactive technology captures the attention of Ford and BMW.

Ford Motor Company of Canada and BMW Financial Services are the latest to take their remarketing business to the Internet using ADESA Canada's new eBusiness interactive solution LiveBlock. Fully integrated with DealerBlock, ADESA Canada's online remarketing portal, LiveBlock has been developed with the Live Global Bid[TM] streaming audio and video technologies, developed in Moose Jaw, SK.

Live Global Bid's streaming audio and visual technologies are a proven platform for online live and interactive auctions. This technology seamlessly combines Internet bidders with the action on the auction floor to provide dealers with increased access to vehicles.

Aside from its Moose Jaw headquarters, Live Global Bid[TM] has offices in the United States and Australia, and has been pioneering live and interactive auctions since 2000. Live Global Bid[TM] has a proven track record of developing innovative software and delivering business improvements to a global client base of auction management houses in a wide array of sectors including automotive, live animals, antiques, furs, coins, and collectables.

The addition of Ford and BMW only six months after ADESA initiated the rollout with Daimler Chrysler Canada gives the eSolution significant credibility. LiveBlock has exceeded all expectations and is a powerful tool, meeting the changing realities of a dynamic marketplace.

"ADESA Canada has been the pioneer, spearheading the technology and driving live and interactive auctioning in Canada," says Barry White, president and CEO of Live Global Bid[TM]. "This is one of the best examples of a company truly embracing new interactive eBusiness technologies. We're thrilled to see the positive impact this is having on ADESA."

According to Trevor Henderson, ADESA's director of eBusiness, "We were able to get to market very quickly with Live Global Bid's technology and we have held over 100 successful auctions on this platform. It has proven itself as a viable solution for Web-based remarketing in Canada."
