New hotel opens at JFK.


InterContinental Hotels Group InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) (LSE: IHG NYSE: IHG) is a multinational company which operates several hotel brands. The largest hotel company by number of rooms (556,000 as of March 2007 [1]), its headquarters are in Windsor just outside Greater London and  announced the opening of its latest property in the New York New York, state, United States

The Crowne Plaza-JFK Airport is located at the entrance to JFK Airport at the intersection of the Van Wyke Expressway and the Belt Parkway The Belt Parkway, also known as the Belt System or Circumferential Parkway, is a series of limited-access highways that form a complete circle around the New York City boroughs of Brooklyn and Queens on Long Island. . The property is just minutes from Shea Stadium, Belmont Park racetrack and Aqueduct racetrack.

The Crowne Plaza-JFK Airport is owned by a subsidiary of Lend Lease Real Estate Investments and managed by Interstate Hotels & Resorts under a license agreement with a company in the InterContinental Hotels Group.
