New heat-resistant PU rigid foam sheet.

Yantai Wanhua Polyurethane Co., Ltd. has, in collaboration with a research institute, developed a heat-resistant polyurethane sheet with excellent penetrating power to electromagnetic waves. A new application has therefore been added in the polyurethane foam sector.

Such polyurethane sheet is cast-molded and then cut into desired sizes. Its properties are higher than conventional rigid foams used in heat insulation. Its foam should have even holes and no needle-like holes. The temperature resistance is requested to be more than 120 degree centigrade. There should be no shedding after cutting. There are also some requirements on material toughness.
