New health care center to serve downtown area.

Enter internationally renowned father and son business development team Hans and Richard Middelberg, who saw the opportunity for a comprehensive medical facility in lower Manhattan and conceptualized, developed, and are presently completing building Tribeca Medical Center. 'People want to go to one place for all their diagnostic health care needs," said Richard Middelberg. "Tribeca Medical Center is as a convenient as a hospital but in the non-hospital setting patients prefer. Our patient population not as hectic as an emergency room and is without the long waiting time in the average physician's practice. It offers the ultimate happy medium."

Tribeca Medical Center is broken down into four divisions. There is a Walk-in Center which does not require a medical referral, a Women's Center, which services all diagnostic needs from mammography mammography, diagnostic procedure that uses low-dose X rays to detect abnormalities in the breasts. The early diagnosis of breast cancer made possible by the routine use of mammography for screening women increases a woman's treatment alternatives and improves her  to ultrasound to dexometry or bone density testing for osteoporosis.
