New funding initiative for 2006.


Denise Groneman, vice president of The Louis R. Cappelli Foundation Founded in 1999 by Louis R. Cappelli, who serves as Chairman of the Foundation Board of Directors, the Louis R. Cappelli Foundation is a funding source designed to assist at-risk youth to reach their full potential. The Louis R. Cappelli Foundation has awarded over $4. , announced its 2006 funding initiative. Since its inception in 1999, the Foundation has awarded over $4.6 million in grants.

The initiative is part of the Foundation's mission to support philanthropic phil·an·throp·ic   also phil·an·throp·i·cal

2. Organized to provide humanitarian or charitable assistance:
 activities, with a focus on programs addressing the special needs of youth. Three specific target areas are education, health and fitness and the arts. The applications will be accepted only once during the calendar year 2006. All applicants are required to submit the same form, which can be downloaded at www.cappelliinc.com. All applications must be postmarked or delivered no later than June 30, 2006.
