New firm gets Ticona's Topas COC.

Topas Advanced Polymers (TAP) is a new joint venture that has acquired the Topas cyclic-olefin copolymer copolymer: see polymer. (COC See chip on chip. ) business of Ticona Ticona is an international manufacturer of engineering polymers. The company's head office has been located at the Ticona/Celanese-Plant in the German town of Kelsterbach near Frankfurt since 2002. . TAP has offices in Frankfurt, Germany, and at the Ticona facility in Florence, Ky.
