New faculty fellows appointed.


In February, the Washington Internship Institute (WII A video game console from Nintendo (www.nintendo.com) introduced in 2006. Pronounced "wee," it runs Wii and GameCube software and features a wireless motion sensing controller that looks like a TV remote rather than a game controller. ) and AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) An audio compression technology that is part of the MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 standards. AAC, especially MPEG-4 AAC, provides greater compression and better sound quality than MP3, which also came out of the MPEG standard.  & U announced the appointment of three faculty fellow for the spring 2005 semester. Professors Bernice Bass de Martinez, Judy Krutky, and Regina Turner are serving in the Faculty Fellows Internship Program sponsored by WII in cooperation with AAC & U.

Bernice Bass de Martinez, a professor of teacher education on special assignment to the president at California State University, Sacramento California State University, Sacramento, more commonly referred to as Sacramento State or Sac State, is a public university located in the city of Sacramento, California, USA. It is part of the California State University system. , and Judy Krutky, a professor of political science and international studies at Baldwin-Wallace College, are spending the semester at AAC & U, where they will work in the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Global Initiatives. Regina Turner, an associate professor of communication studies at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) is the urban campus of Indiana University located in Indianapolis, Indiana. IUPUI offers undergraduate, graduate and professional degrees from both Indiana University and Purdue University. , is spending the semester at Ford's Theatre, where she will learn about the marketing involved in running a professional theater.
