New education, communication journals from Routledge.

Ethnography & Education will be published three times a year while Ethics and Education will be produced twice a year. Also, the company has started the publication of Communication and Critical/Cultural Studies.

Ethnography & Education will publish articles that focus on educational practices through empirical studies Empirical studies in social sciences are when the research ends are based on evidence and not just theory. This is done to comply with the scientific method that asserts the objective discovery of knowledge based on verifiable facts of evidence.  and will include information on a wide variety of research from such fields as sociology, linguistics, history psychology, anthropology and general educational studies. An annual subscription to the journal will cost $218.

Ethics and Education is designed to "stimulate discussion and debate around the ethical dimensions of education," Routledge said, and will cover the relevant aspects of applied ethics, including bioethics bioethics, in philosophy, a branch of ethics concerned with issues surrounding health care and the biological sciences. Editorial focuses on social, political and cultural pratices from the standpoint of communication through research essays and commentary. An annual subscription to the journal costs $187.
