We are pleased to announce the reorganization of the Real Estate Institute into two divisions: professional real estate programs directed by Arlyne Lesser and credit programs directed by Dr. Carl Lebowitz. Both directors have extensive, successful careers at NYU NYU New York University
NYU New York Undercover (TV show)
and are dedicated to continuing the high quality and depth of courses offered at The Institute.

As the 1994-95 academic year commences, the Institute, which is the largest and most specialized professional real estate training facility in the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. , is embarking upon new directions with the addition of several exciting programs, grams, courses, and prominent faculty.

Among these new offerings is the Advanced Professional Certificate in Real Estate. This program addresses the needs of professionals starting careers in real estate who find that they lack an educational base consistent with the demands of the jobs. Many are trained in one task or discipline but lack the broader context in which their work takes place. Addressing these needs, the Advanced Professional Certificate in Real Estate serves those who have earned a bachelor's degree and wish to obtain a foundation for a career in real estate, as well as those who hold graduate degrees but seek education in a new career area or a new specialization within the real estate field. The 16-credit curriculum can be completed in two semesters of evening classes or at a slower pace over a two year period. Of particular note is that credit in this program can be applied toward matriculation ma·tric·u·late
