from Eastman Chemical Co., Kingsport, Tenn. Under normal extruder conditions, this product is said to maintain the same shrinkage characteristics as previous Embrace grades but has at least 30% lower shrink force. It can produce films with up to 40% lower shrink force than the first-generation Embrace resin--whose shrinkage curve is similar to PVC PVC: see polyvinyl chloride.
