New contracts for allocation of funds from IPARD.

New 31 contracts for allocation of funds from IPARD Program 2007-2013 within 5th public call are being signed with the applicants in the Agency for Financial Support of the Agriculture and Rural Development.

A total of 92 applications have been submitted at the public call. The greatest interest has been shown for investments in agriculture holdings for their restructuring and upgrading to the Community standards (52 applications), diversification and development of the rural economic activities (26 applications) and investments in processing and marketing of agriculture (14 applications).

The total amount of the investments is Denar 33.3 million of which 50 percent is the amount that will be co-financed after realization of the investments.

So far, the sum of signed contracts for allocation of funds from IPARD Program surpasses Denar 460 million or EUR 7.5 million.
