 Journal Corp. (PWJC; Ridgewood, NJ), will begin the publication of Government Engineering magazine with a May issue. The new quarterly will have a controlled circulation of 35,000 engineers.

The title is being targeted to city and county engineers, contractors and consulting engineers involved in the design, building, operation and maintenance of streets, public transportation and highways/bridges; the collection, treatment, and delivery of potable potable /pot·a·ble/ (po´tah-b'l) fit to drink.

B2BMediaWorks is headed by former PWJC executives Jim Kircher, president of the new company, and William Smith William Smith may refer to: People

  • William Smith (actor) (born 1934)
, current vice president. The assets of PWJC, including Public Works magazine, were sold to Hanley-Wood (Wash., D.C.) in May 2003.
