New company launches business magazine for women.

The new title will be published ten times a year beginning in September and it has an initial circulation of 75,000. A charter annual subscription costs $30.

Shattered Magazine LLC is was established by Julie Ros, the current controlling director and editor-in-chief of P&L Services Ltd. (London), a company that produces "Profit & Loss," a monthly magazine for the foreign exchange and derivatives markets, related print and online information products and conferences and events. Ros said that "coverage of women in business tends to focus on a few female corporate superstars or the difficulties women face in juggling career and family. There are no titles that portray successful women in business as the norm. 'Shattered' is that magazine."
