XanEdu, launched in 2000, provides students with online and print content in course packs. The Microfilm and Digitization Services unit produces microfilm for dissertations, newspapers and research collections. NAPC president/ceo Dan Arbour said the National Archive Publishing name "defines what we do." Arbour said the new company will continue to focus on serving existing clients while leveraging "our vast capabilities, experience and capacity to develop new products and enhance the value of our existing offerings." ProQuest will continue to operate ProQuest Business Solutions, a unit that provides electronic delivery of parts and service information for the automotive market, including technical data, parts catalogs and service manuals. ProQuest will also continue to operate Chadwyck-Healey (Cambridge, Eng. & Alexandria, VA), a unit that produces scholarly references and databases for a variety of academic areas via the Internet, CD and print. |
