The company publishes two weekly newsmagazines for the property/ casualty (National Underwriter P&C; mostly--controlled circulation of 48,800) and life/health (National Underwriter Life & Health; mostly-controlled circulation of 62,800) sectors of insurance carrying the National Underwriter brand. The company also publishes Claims, a monthly magazine for 10,000 claims executives, Tech Decisions, a monthly for 18,500 IT insurance professionals, a regional monthly, Florida Underwriter, and an e-newsletter published 25 times a year, TechDecisions eNews.

The company's Professional Publishing Group produces subscription-based information products, including its Fire, Casualty and Surety bulletins covering developments in insurance policy application and legal interpretation, and its TaxFacts annuals. NUCO also produces the annual "ACE/SCLA" claims conference and the "TechDoc" technology event.

Highline said it plans to use NUCO as a base from which to build a "multi-market, multi-product b2b publishing and related media company," including magazines, newsletters, conferences, trade shows, web sites and books.
