According to Astrachan, a Cushman & Wakefield executive director, "In addition to its first-rate amenities, tenants are drawn to the building's highly efficient floor plates and floor-to-ceiling glass, which create a light-filled, open environment and promote collaboration among employees." In addition to 275,000 s/f of total office space, of which about 145,000 s/f remains available for lease, 505 Fifth Ave. has 25,000 s/f of prime retail space in walking-distance to Grand Central, the New York Public Library New York Public Library, free library supported by private endowments and gifts and by the city and state of New York.
