New bond financing for long island site.

Farrell Fritz, PC announced that Peter Curry, a partner in its new Melville office, represented Michael Reilly Designs, Incorporated and its affiliate, Plant 7 Calverton, Inc., in a $7.1 million tax exempt bond financing with the Town of Riverhead Industrial Development Agency on Oct. 5. This transaction is the first tax-exempt bond financing to occur at the 472 acre former Grumman (Navy) site recently acquired by M-GBCLLC, a Jan Burman-controlled entity.

M-GBCLLC resold approximately 21 acres and a 193,000-SF industrial assembly building to Plant 7 Calverton. Michael Reilly Designs has occupied the building since last year to manufacture custom millwork, doors and window . It contracted to buy the facility when its former p ant in Bridgehampton became too small for its aspired growth in sales and employees.
