A car dealership or vehicle local distribution is a business that sells new cars and/or used cars at the retail level, based on a dealership contract with an automaker or
 in L.A. County generated $5.1 billion in 2005 revenues for sales, parts and service. That's up 21 percent over the prior year.

Thirteen dealerships on the list reported higher revenues for 2005. Longo Toyota sold more than 27,000 new and used vehicles in 2005, with new car sales accounting for most of the volume. The dealership surpassed 2,700 units sold during the mouth of July July: see month. , breaking its monthly sales record.
